Cummins Diesel, a worldwide engine manufacturer and Fortune 500 company has partnered with Launchpad6 to create Australia’s first ever video recruitment competition.
The contest, which is powered by Launchpad6’s Video Contest Platform, invites users to submit a 2 minute video of themselves explaining their qualifications and why they’d be prefect for the numerous engineering jobs available at Cummins.
If the winner of the contest is ultimately selected for a job at Cummins, he or she wins $5000 and a hotlap in the Cummins V8 supercar. The campaign is being promoted through Cummins online presence and on the side of it’s V8 supercar, which is racing in this weekends Bathurst 1000.
According to Launchpad6 Marketing Director Aaron Beashel, it is the first time this kind of recruitment tactic has been deployed in Australia.
